Papaya

Papaya: malagaw

Ripe papaya is often eaten as a snack or dessert in Thailand. Serve it as you would any melon. Remember, this fruit has mild laxative qualities, so don't eat too much!

Go for papayas that are just changing from green to orangish yellow, and avoid ones with too many brown spots. The fruit should be firm, but not too hard, and not too soft.
