Steak Salad
Try this delicious Thai steak recipe made with limes, cilantro, and chili powder.

A chef in San Diego California says this is his most popular hot-weather dish.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 Lb skirt steak
  • 1 Small onion, chopped
  • 4 Tbsp fish sauce
  • 3 Limes
  • 15 Sprigs of cilantro, minced
  • 2 Tsp ground chili powder
  • 1 Tsp sugar

Procedure:

  1. Grill or broil the steak and when cooled cut into thin strips
  2. Place in bowl with fish sauce, cilantro, onion, sugar, and chili powder. Taste.
  3. Add lime juice, one lime at a time, until the dish is slightly hot.
  4. Place in bowl to mold, then unmold on serving platter.

Serves 4
