Pork with Mussman Curry

Mussman curry, also known as Massaman curry, is an Indian-influenced curry, and unlike other Thai curries, it contains many ground dry spices as ingredients, including cumin, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves.

Ingredients:

  • ½ lb ground pork
  • 2 tbsp Mussman Curry Powder
  • 2 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 green pepper, cut into ¼ inch strips
  • 2 shitake mushrooms, soaked and chopped
  • 1 cup potato cubes
  • 1 cup chopped onions


Procedure:

  1. Heat oil, add curry powder, sugar, salt and pork until the latter is no longer pink.
  2. Sauté onion and potato and mushroom pieces in the flavored oil.
  3. Add coconut milk and boil until vegetables are done.
  4. Serve in bowl with spoon for fluffy rice.
