Cashew Chicken

Not just a Chinese dish anymore, this adaptation is delicious!

Ingredients:

  • ½ Lb. sliced chicken thigh
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/3 Cup roasted cashew nuts
  • 2 Spring onions, chopped
  • 3 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 Onion, cut into small cubes
  • 4 Dried chilies, chopped
  • 1 Tsp seasoning soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cooking sherry
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil

Procedure:

  1. Fry chilies, garlic, and onion until fragrant
  2. Add chicken pieces, sugar, soy sauce, and oyster sauce
  3. Add green onion, sherry and cashews. Heat to toss and serve.


Serves 2, but easily doubled.
